Although we specialize in event marketing, Clayton Event Consulting offers associated services for our clients such as branding and marketing. This may include creating a USP, tag lines, literature, web, video and social media.

For Venues

Clayton Event Consulting offers a turn key event management department. We act as an extension of your staff that organizes, opens, operates and produces events for your venue. Your venue produces revenue without some of the costly overhead. We have numerous applications and can work events into almost any venue.

Our Staff

Stephen Clayton, CEO

Stephen has provided resources and management for events since 1998. His experiences include Technical Direction, Venue Management, Concert Production and Venue Marketing. He has toured the country putting on events for numerous companies at hundreds of different venues. Stephen gives back his resources while teaching Event Management/Logistics and AV for the University of San Diego. He also offers mentorship programs for people through his Event Inventor Program.

Mark Mejia, Teammate

Mark brings 20+ years of experience as a golf course and events manager with him to Clayton Consulting. Mark has managed events at some of the most distinctive country clubs in Southern California. His expertise is sought after by many golf clubs, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and venues across the US.

DeAnna Walden, Associate

DeAnna comes to Clayton Event Consulting from the event sales and marketing world. She has produced both small and large events for some of the best companies in the world. Her passion is developing a program for a venue and teaching them how to successfully run it. She continues to run events and holds a particular interest in charities and galas.

Nikole Gipps, Developer

Nikole is CEC’s go-to person for all our web development and online marketing needs. She has been working with web technologies to bring clients’ sales goals to fruition through web design, marketing campaigns, social media strategies and more. Her creative thinking helps CEC’s clients get the word out at any budget.
